What was your favorite comics of childhood? I was big fan of comics, superman, batman and Thor was read by me.
I wasn’t seriously into comics until I was in middle school. As a grade schooler, the only comic allowed in the house was Treasure Chest, a weird grab-bag of a comic that was distributed exclusively through Catholic elementary schools. It was pretty good, actually; each issue would have maybe four stories (and a bunch of one-page gag comics); two were adventure, one was biography (the ones I remember were John Philip Sousa and Georg Haydn) or some other educational topic, and one was liturgical (“Red Martyr” or “Lives of the Saints”). You could skip the preachy stuff and still groove on the adventures of Chuck White (kind of a Hardy Boys strip) or Sock Jones (Sci-Fi and the closest thing to a superhero strip those pages ever saw). Joe Sinnott and Reed Crandall were frequent contributors. So was Frank Borth, though he was never as famous to Marvel/DC fans. This ran from, like, 1946 until 1971.
