kids songs on guitar

Anybody know of any sites where I can find chords to children’s songs to do a sing-along with a kindergarten class? I’m thinking stuff like “Itsy Bitsy Spider” or something.

Here’s one: http://www.easynet.ca/~gardiner/pages/kidsong.html

Jim McCutcheon (a.k.a. “The Guitar Man”) is one of the most respected classical guitar players/instructors in the country. In addition to “serious” classical guitar, he specializes in guitar music for children.

We bought his CD titled “Guitar Man,” which is a dozen-or-so children’s songs expertly played on a variety of guitars. Our children absolutely love it. I believe he has also written and published children’s music for guitar players.

Information on his “Guitar Man” CD, which I think is a real “must” if you have young children:

I know it is not what you asked for but Mel Bay has a series of children’s song books for guitar and voice that are simply the melody and chords for about 4 bucks. You will grow to hate him but it is a start.

HUGS!
