If this topic has already been discussed, please let it drop, but I read this in today’s paper:
I wonder if there are already cases out there where kids have sued their parents over second hand smoke. Could kids, by the same token, sue their alcoholic parents for emotional/physical abuse?
Emotional/physical abuse can be difficult to prove (especially if enough time has passed). The results of second hand smoke, AFAIK, can be proven. I sure wouldn’t mind seeing a case like this show up on the People’s Court or Judge Judy.
