So, I was checking fark for the lastest bits of interest and I stumbled across this. Panicware, Inc. Pop-Up Stopper™ 2.4.

I agree, but in the mean time…

There is a great little program I use called Pop-Up Killer. It runs in the back ground and closes pop ups automatically. Hasn’t failed me yet.

I use Pop-Up Killer too, and it works great. Catches probably 95% of the popups. Though sometimes it’s a bit too zealous and closes windows I wanted :wink:

I use it, but one annoying thing is that it dosen’t let you click on links and open new windows, it kills those too unless you hit “ctrl” as you click on the link. I keep it in the tray, but only turn it on when I’m free surfing.

Hey, I know there are other pop-up killers out there, but I don’t think a week goes by without someone bitching about pop-ups, so, we find ourselves with threads like this :wink:
