Good morning!
Beginning with Robert Blake TV program, Baretta, I have seen the “King Edward Hotel” of Los Angeles as a background, almost a fixture, in numerous movies and TV shows. According to the Internet, it’s an old dump. Anyone know why it is so popular with film makers?

It looks cool. It’s in LA. It’s abandoned, so it’s cheap and easy to soot in.
Huh. There’s a King Edward Hotel in downtown Jackson MS that sat as an abandoned dump for decades. After what seemed like hundreds of groups coming in with plans they finally got funding to renovate it.
FWIW, which is pretty much nothing…
