“Painter of Light” investigated by Feds; appears to be scum (IMO). But what else is new?
On the one hand, Kinkade is scum and deserves to lose every bit of the fame and fortune he’s gained.
On the other, how stupid do you have to be to buy into this thing on the basis of warm fuzzies and professed religious belief? What exactly about Kinkade’s paintings express “faith, love, family and God”? How do you get that out of a bunch of prints of mostly lighthouses and thatch cottages?
Who knows? The works by this “painter of shite” look more like they should be sold in the pink aisle at Toys ‘R’ Us.
I hope the FBI tears down his empire, which is based in my hometown. I make “ward off the devil” signs each time I drive by the office building he purchased with his ill-gotten gains.

I already knew he was a freaking hack. I already knew he was a pretentious chump (ever read some of the stuff he writes about his own paintings?!?). I already knew he was a fraud (doesn’t even paint most of his own stuff). And now I know he’s likely a crook. Nice. This purveyor of glurge-on-canvas can’t die fast enough for me.
Ah, but did you know he was a public urinator?
Wow, that thread had me cackling out loud. Thanks for that. And add “public urinator,” “titty groper,” and “queer magician heckler” to his curriculum vitae. Quite the list of achievements there. 
He’s opened a store in my neck of the woods, in west London.
