I nearly fell out of my chair. I always thought having a larger monitor was a good thing, but DAYUM!

That face should be poking through an axe-cut in a door. :smiley:

Holy crap! Lucifur!

My Miss Fritters has been missing for two weeks. She escaped (she’s an indoor cat) one morning and nobody has seen her since. We’ve been doing everything we can to track her down (placing ads in local papers, calling shelters, posting tons of fliers), but so far, no Miss Fritters.

I’ve had some calls, but all the cats in question that people have taken in are boy cats. I’m going to keep hoping!

Sending ‘found kitty’ vibes your way. I hope Miss Fritters is soon back with you, safe and sound!

-Wallet-

Thanks, Wallet! I appreciate your kindness.

We’ve pretty much mobilized the neighborhood, seriously.

At this point I’m trying to figure out how to angle one of those TV “Missing Child” type on-air pleas, but I seriously don’t think any TV stations would be interested. For now we’ll just proceed as we have been.

Sorry about the hijack!

I’m tired of these kittens in the luggage compartment.

Don’t see how this is a TSA failure, though. Their job is to screen for guns and bombs, and they’re trained to identify shapes and signatures that conform to those patters. Unless that kitty was wired, it wasn’t their job to find it.

[QUOTE=The Scrivener]
Slight hijack [pardon the pun!] – how on earth [oops] could the kitten get enough air in a closed case? The damn thing must’ve been half empty, right? But even so… Have you ever seen a hard- or soft-sided case that would “breathe” enough to sustain a life inside?

My pup sleeps at the foot of the bed under layers of covers for much longer than you would think the trapped oxygen would last. Your guess is as good as mine.

If they can’t spot something as out of place as a cat in a suitcase, how can they be expected to spot a bomb or a gun?
