I just tried to show the video to Mrs. L.A., and there was an unskippable, almost three-minute commercial that was too long to sit through.
Here’s a link to a news page. The video is edited, but has additional footage of the kitten post-rescue.
Thats great! Self endangering, but great. And now she has a cute, middle-of-the-night-vase-crashing little monster in her home.
That was awesome! Your Brain On Pizza totally fucking rocks!
My favorite part was how she totally disregarded danger to her bike to get the kitten to safety first. I admire her priorities.
That’s something I would do. I once had to stop traffic on a 4 lane road here, because a family of ducks (momma, and 8 babies) were crossing the road. The other drivers were very kind, several joined me in making a barricade with their cars and the people who were held up for a few minutes didn’t complain at all. If I hadn’t done it I would have thought about nothing else but those poor ducks, for the next couple of days.
Kudos to this lady for rescuing the poor kitty. She has a friend for life now.
This is the unedited video. It has just a 15 second ad on YouTube. It’s up to 2.7 million views now.
She should name her “Leaf”.
Probably dangerous, but it’ll be a cool story to tell whenever anyone asks, “Oh, when did you get a cat?”
