Kitty Accessories

So as to not monopolize any more of your time with condolences on my kitty’s impending demise, I’ve started a new thread with new question(s).

I have some no-so-cheap accessories that I’ve bought for the cat. Filtering water dish, sifting cat box and something else I’m not remembering right now.

Will the kitten I adopt from the shelter (who’s neutered) adapt to these old accessories if they’re sufficiently cleaned? I’m going to get a new bed, of course, and new toys and such. The stinkin’ (literally) litter box was $30+.

Are new babies finicky about stuff like that?

Again, TIA to you wonderful kitty people!

If sufficently cleaned, the old stuff should do just fine. Some cats are more finicky than others, of course, but the water dish and litter box should not be a problem. As a matter of fact, a not-too-throughly cleaned litter box is a good reminder to the new kitty of “this is where I do that.”
