This seems to be about the most recent summary of the Klamath dam removal project, or at least the most recent I can find. The project is waiting on FERC approval. Does anyone know when that is to be expected?
Here’s an article that doesn’t answer your question directly, but indicates that the relevant parties have signed an agreement that will lead to all 4 dams being removed by 2020.
FERC, having gone along with this, is presumably planning to do their part by granting the necessary approvals.
I guess I’m really asking about how fast the FERC works. My link says they hope they’ll get approval next year. Is that reasonable? It was also written before the election. Is that going to have any impact on it?
