The SG1 Episode I’m watching is called “Death Knell”
How does one pronounce Knell ?
Kn- Ell ?
Or Nel ?
The K is silent, like the P in bath.
It’s ‘nell’
The “k” is silent in most “kn” words in English.
This is Nell, along with Dudley and Horse.
Is this an example of that famous British humor? 
I’ve had enough to admit I completely missed this. I’m sad with myself.
I think the cartoon horse is named Nell
Unless you’re standing up, then the P isn’t silent.
