Knife Handle- Wood or Horn?

I have been thinking it over the past few weeks, and I think I am going to buy this knife: 15 inch Ang Khola

Question is, do I go with wood or horn handle? Which stands up to use better?

Both are traditional for a kukri and do fine, so long as the wood is a hardwood. Horn can have a tendency to shrink and crack a bit.

Oh, cool. It has links for how to clean and sharpen, too. I have one my dad bought in Rangoon in the late 50s, and it’s a bit dirty and stuff.
