So, how’s Angus liking those balls of yarn?
I’d like to knit, but I’m too impatient.

I’ve been terrible lately. Three half-finished projects in the hopper and I just don’t have the heart for some reason to pick them up.
Hello my name is Britt,
I would like to sit round with you all and hope that the disease is catching. You see, I have a jumper, err a square of interconnected wool actually, and it has holes in it (not the small good ones, but the big, I dropped three stitches ones). I started this project 2 years ago, along with my chain mail guantlet (that I actually completed recently), and there is no end in sight.
I am a male, I want to knit but it just isn’t happening for me
ME!!! ME, ME, ME, ME, ME!!! I’d be happy to pay for yarn and other incidentals!
I’d like one similar to Tom Baker’s from Dr. Who, but we’ll need different colors. You can see it here.
Woo hoo!! Email me and we can work out the details!!

I have found a solution for my insane, yet perfectly nutty desire to knit.
I found a woman at a craft show that is ab-so-fucking-tutly brilliant at knitting.
She’s a semi-cranky old lady (so much for the perky grandma image) in her 50’s-early 60’s who has been knitting since her grandmother showed her when she was 3.
I bought two sweaters off of her for my children:
1: a light blue cardigan with a skunk on the back of it. $20.
And I bought an all knitted teddy bear. It looks like a bastardization/ variation on a theme of a sock monkey, *ONLY CUTER *. $15. It’s MINE, ALL MINE!
I’m going to throw out all my knitting patterns and stuff and just hire the cranky granny.
No, I won’t, I want to learn this…dammit!
Hey, that’s great. And it’s no problem to make. I’d love to do it! In fact, I accidentally made one about that long for my grandmother. She’s only about 4’10" so I’m not sure how she’s going to like the ten foot scarf. We’ll see…

Well, I feel kinda dumb now. I always thought those needle exchange programs were something else, entirely.
