It’d be a great submission, but I think you have to take the pattern offline to submit it. I don’t think Knitty accepts previously “published” patterns, even if it’s your own pattern you just posted on your blog for free.
I thought about submitting it to Knitty, but honestly I didn’t think they would accept it because they are very very picky. However, I am in the process of making a matching* hat so maybe I will submit that!
*The yarn matches but it’s done in a cable motif, not the column of leaves motif.
Speaking of which, today was the very first day I have worn my scarf! It is cold and windy today and it’s the first day this fall that it’s been cold enough to need a scarf. It was also cold enough that I said to myself, I need to hurry up and finish the hat, I am definitely going to be needing it soon!
Oh I love that Andean Silk yarn, I was just admiring it yesterday. It is perfect for this scarf. It will block beautifully. I can’t emphasize enough the importance of blocking this scarf, it is amazing the difference it makes! Not only does the pattern just “pop,” and open up the lace, but the scarf grows in length and width!
