Know any good friendship poems?

I’ve searched the web and found mostly cheesy stuff. Does anyone know of any good ones - the gushy Hallmark type poems?

I need it as part of a ceremony I’m holding for my fraternity tonight and simply can’t find anything good.

Ahem.

“I think you’re a really great friend
You have a really nice rear end
I would spank it if I could
Just the thought gives me wood.”

The end. Can you believe I just made that up?

I can believe you just made it up; I just can’t believe you’d admit to its authorship.

DoperChic: can you be more specific about what you’re looking for? Does the poem need to be a certain length, does it need to rhyme, etc. etc. etc…

Fraternity, huh? How about:

Here I sit, brokenhearted…

HEY! Put that baseball bat down!

“I have a new friend named Gyrate
I think he or she is really great
Though I don’t know much about his/her ass
If it’s nice or just emits gas.
There’s more to friendship than just butts
Whether soft sacks of dough or firm like coconuts.”

Made that one up too! I’m on a roll!

Here’s a nice bit of poetry by someone famous-like:**

Lovely, although I suspect that last quatrain might be somewhat spurious…

Well, it’s rather long, but you could always go with an excerpt from Ben Jonson’s “To the Immortal Memory and Friendship of that Noble Pair, Sir Lucius Cary and H. Morison.”

On second thought, that might not be quite the thing for a fraternity initiation. Never mind.
