Knowing your aches and pains

I started noticing about 20 years ago that when a skeletal pain of some kind (knee, back, shoulder) gets so bad I can’t stand it anymore it is signaling me that the next day it will be better. At first I thought it was coincidence, a pain would get so bad I would almost feel like I needed to go to ER for pain treatment, I would set a Dr. appt. but the pain would be gone before my Appt. Lately I have come to rely on this and it seems to never fail. It might take 2 weeks for a pain to finally get to the point I can no longer stand it but like clockwork the next day it will be gone.

Anyone else have this same experience, my GF laughs about it but it never seems to fail.

I can understand that. I get pain pills and injections to control my pains. Sometimes I get severe pains that I thought the injections wore too soon but goes away hours later or the next day.

I considered them flare ups.

The same thing for me. If I strain my back the pain will start slowly in the lower back, and spread up to the shoulders and down the arms over the course of a few days (or weeks in a really bad case) and then fade away. I have also made a Dr appt, only to have the pain fade away by the time the appt actually rolls around.

I used to have that before I have treatments but it was from the neck/shoulders down to the legs. Weird.
