Knox verdict overturned. Was there probable cause?

Amanda Knox’s verdict has been overturned. Would our criminal law practitioners care to weigh in on whether they thought there was enough probable cause to try her per US rules, and any other thoughts they might have.

There was unquestionably probable cause.

I don’t think the proof rose to the level of beyond-a-reasonable-doubt.

The actual murderer confessing and implicating Knox and boyfriend under pressure? Was that the pc? Knox’s behavior?

Incidentally, thanks for answering.

Once you get a non-anonymous accusation, you pretty much have probable cause. The circumstances of the accusation are a matter for trial, but it will almost always support probable cause.
