Hopefully a short OP, but this is something I’m curious about. The actions that US/NATO took against Serbia not so long ago (over some international criticism, no less) really ought to count against criticisms of anti-Muslim bias in US policy. After all, the Kosovar Albanians were (predominately) Muslim, and we bombed the crud out of (predominately) Christian Serbs in order to prevent those Kosovars from being evicted/killed/etc. However, no one seems to be mentioning this – I guess I really wouldn’t expect Osama bin Laden to admit that we did anything right, ever, but why doesn’t this count at least a little in our favor in Pakistan, Indonesia, etc.?
Let’s add freeing Kuwait and defending the Saudi’s and attempting to do away the Somolian warlord (name?)to that list of good deeds.
