How was Kristallnacht (the “Night of Broken Glass” in Germany, November 1938) covered by the world press? Was it widely reported? How was it described?
It was very widely reported and evoked a negative reaction towards the Nazis, some countries (incl. the US) severed ties with Nazi Germany because of the events of that night.
