Kuwait belongs to OPEC, which is the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries. As such, Kuwait cannot sell discounted oil to us any more than a convenience store can sell Bud Lite at prices below the state mandated minimum price.
And you might keep in mind that we didn’t bail Kuwait out just because we’re nice guys. Keeping oil prices stable is in our best interest, too.
As annoying as such threads mey be, personally I find it also interesting to witness such members exposing themselves for what they are. I always forget their membernames, so sometimes such threads still contain a few surprizes.
It is also a continious learning experience to see what kind of weird declarations and alien wisdom such people throw around and what their convictions and ideas are.
