Anyone around here watch the L Word? Tonight was the series finale and I wanted to hear some thoughts. I still have some unanswered questions. Like, uh, exactly who killed Jenny?
Yeah, I thought that they pretty much were trying to set up the webisodes for the closure. There are PLENTY of people with at least some motive to do harm to Jenny. In fact, I can’t remember a character in a series that I personally have not wanted to see dead more than Jenny. I’m thinking it’s probably Nikki, but who knows? And there’s so much unresolved. I think they hope that there’s going to be a series of webisodes that complete or at least continue the story, but there’s a lot that I just don’t care about at this point. Kit and the cross-dresser? Don’t care. Alice and Tasha? Don’t care. Helena and Dylan? Don’t care. Shane? Hope she tracks Holly down and makes good, but otherwise don’t care. Bette and Tina? Probably the ones I care most about, and hope that they make it good in NY. Don’t care one whit about Max. The most satisfying thing about this whole deal is that Jenny is dead. The writers have manged to do what hasn’t been done before, as far as my experience is concerned; they’ve made a character so dispicable that I would have been utterly disappointed if she hadn’t been killed.
I think Adelle did it, though. Why not?
Interesting that Adele wasn’t mentioned at all in the finale.
There’s supposed to be a spin-off called The Farm, wherein Alice is in jail for killing Jenny, but it’s still in doubt whether or not she actually did it.
My guess is that Jenny wasn’t murdered at all. She fell off the balcony area where there was no railing, into the pool, and drowned.
The ending did leave a fair number of cliff hangers that I fear will never be resolved.
The concept of the Farm sounds terrible unless there are lots of shower scenes.
I was wondering how you had spoilers for the World Series.
Carry on.
