I’m finally getting serious about using Lastpass, but I can’t find an answer on their site.

If I get the family plan, which has 6 licenses, is that 6 devices or 6 family members on x number of devices?

Six members (doesn’t have to be an actual family member) can use its features on an unlimited number of devices.
They offer free trials to see how it works.

I used KeePass synced over Dropbox until recently. I switched to LastPass because it integrates better with both IOS and my browser.

A small concern is that it needs internet connectivity. So however convenient it is to do so don’t use it for the password to your router:)

Bitwarden is a free/open source alternative. You can self host it or use their cloud service for free. I’ve tried LastPass and Dashlane but have found Bitwarden to have a better UX than either. I can’t speak to iOS app but the app on Android works great and supports autofill.
