Laid off at 61. Now what?

If they’d make health insurance lore affordable for early-retirees, that would be a huge help. I’m at an age (and with a family history) that I simply can’t risk not having insurance, but I am close to having the financial resources to afford it otherwise, even if I wait for social security.
