I agree with both of these as well. The sooner the water agencies start restricting agricultural uses the better. But it will be a tough road. In the meantime, Lake Powell must die.
The first is a great idea. Ag uses 80 of water in CA.
The second is so very minor. One estimate holds it as 3.5% of total water use.

No need to go to that extreme.
If Ag simply cuts water usage by a piddling 12%, that equals all the water used by residential. CA has enough water, if we don’t waste it on exporting cheap almonds, etc.
