A quick question. When placing two laminar hoods opposite each other, what should be the minimum distance between them? Both are vertical flow hoods, if that makes any difference?
Thanks for any help!

Is this a headwear question?
We just designed a cell culture room with 2 biosafety cabinets, faced opposite one another. If I recall correctly, we had 6 feet between them, but they were not directly across from one another, but rather offset.
The distance between them was mandated by federal guidelines.
Better call the manufacturer.
Also, is that ‘biosafety’ hood more of a neg-pressure fume hood? If it’s not recirculating filtered air, then I imagine that the m^3/sec of intake air will be much larger.
