And remember that Sibrel was never sincerely and simply asking for confirmation. He had a video camera there and was looking for material for his crackpot documentaries. He has accosted many of the Apollo astronauts in a similar way, and was probably already known to Aldrin. If you’ve seen the whole tape, you’ll notice that when Aldrin hits him, he turns to the camera and asks, “Did you get that?” If a reasonable person approached Aldrin in a polite way and asked if he really walked on the moon, I’m sure they would get a much nicer answer.

It stands for “do not feed the troll,” though accusing another poster of trolling is frowned upon. To answer the next inevitable question, a troll is someone who posts things solely to try to stir up trouble, to try to get a “rise” out of others, rather than out of any sincere belief in his statements, or out of any genuine curiosity about something.
If I started a thread titled, “All blacks are stupid, and all Jews are cheap,” I could, quite fairly, be accused of trollery (now there’s a handy word, doncha think?).
In my opinion the video of Aldrin supposedly punching Sibrel is a hoax (to repeat a joke at the time).
I agree. The shadows are all wrong. There is obviously more than one light source.
I don’t blame Aldrin for punching the guy. Obviously its illigal, but to have to be treated like that for years and years and be put up to the mockery of a few tabloids trying to sell some papers…

Look, all the shadows point in different directions, there are no stars in the background and the dust is less than an inch thick. And if you look closely, you can see a Munchkin hanging himself in the background!
