So I was listening to the Jelly Pudding Show (a weekly “Back from the Grave”-type show on the otherwise useless local classic rock station) the other night, and I had the pleasure of hearing Larry Rasberry’s “Jiveass” for the first time.
Is it worth tracking down the album? I dig that soul/rock raveup stuff like the New Bomb Turks’ “Raw Law” or the Schizo Dudes’ “Gimme Your Love.” Hell, even some of the Black Crowes’ more rockin numbers. Is the rest of Rasberry’s output as good as the song I heard?
