I’m sorry for your loss, Miss Mapp. I’m sure Lucia knew she was loved to the end.
Here are some photos, as promised, of Lucia taken in the past week, up to yesterday afternoon:

Charley, on the left, is over a year old now. Emily, on the right, is almost 8 months.
Beautiful cats!
Sending all my spare Slack your way, Miss Mapp; I have plenty.
In the photos of Lucia, you can’t really see what the tumor was doing to her jaw. I tried to avoid that angle in the last photos–it’s not how I wanted to remember her.
Poor baby. But she knew she was loved, that’s what matters. I’m so sorry for you, I’ll give my pets extra love tonight is Lucia’s honor.
What a lovely, sweet girl.

I don’t currently have a pet to give some extra love to but I’m overdue for a donation to my local SPCA. I’ll take care of that this weekend.
I promise.
RIP, sweet Lucia. And hugs to you, Miss Mapp - hard as your decision was, you know you did the best for her, and she always knew she was loved. Sometimes that is the best gift we can give our furries.
