Show/movie: “Invasion” On AppleTV
Trevante Cole returns from being on the supposedly dead useless “mothership”. Everybody’s thrilled to have him back, there’s much fuss and absolutely no one even mentions the fact that somehow he has been trapped in the supposedly dead mothership for two years and has survived on what? What did he eat? What did he drink? What the hell? Everyone wants to insist that the aliens are no longer a threat and that the mothership is dead, but this guy comes back after two years in perfect health and nobody questions how that occurred? What the fuck?
This one just seems dumb. I only remember this scene from one of the Spider-man movies. CMIIW; Peter Parker and his classmates are in a bus going down a mountain road in Europe for some reason. Fuzzy memory, but the bus gets attacked by someone or something. It damn near goes over the edge of the road numerous times. Everybody is screaming. After the situation is resolved, the bus rolls into town, from the composure of the passengers, you’d never know anything fantastic had even happened.
The bus was being attacked by a stealth drone, and Peter Parker distracted everyone (“look, mountain goats!”) so he could flip up through sunroof and thwipp it before anyone noticed. So other than Parker, no one did know anything fantastic had happened.
