Laundry Question

I am in a quandry about my laundry. The following is the puzzlement.
When I wash & dry my skivvies, the larger precentage of the T’s come out of the dryer inside / outside, regardless of how I start them. The skivvy britches do not do this particular behaviour. Why does this happen?

                                                                   NadaHappyCamper

ALWAYS ALONE; NEVER LONELY

Something even stranger than that: in a previous relationship of mine, my partner’s t-shirts would usually turn inside-out, but mine usually didn’t. We could never figure this out.

I once saw a question in Heloise’s hints about why clothes come out of the dryer wrongside-out. The response was that it had to do with the way the clothes are made – that if put in right-side out, they automatically want to revert to their original positon of wrongside out (I assume that to mean the way they were sewed.) Well, I put t-shirts and such in the washer wrongside-out, but they come out of the dryer inside-in, so I still have to turn them rightside-out. Or something like that. I’m confused.
