The children of wealthy parents are not de facto wealthy. The parents might simply not give their kids money, preferring them to make their own way in life. The kid might be a screw up, and either blow all money immediately or have made the parents decide to not give their child money.
I also don’t know that Laurence Fishburne is particularly wealthy. A-list actors may make 10s of millions per movie. But the payout for actors drops off very quickly as you go down the hierarchy compared with other careers. LF is not an A-list actor. And, of course, some people are quite adept at blowing all money that comes in immediately, let alone having enough spare to give to their children.
Well, I guess he may not be box office magic, but he is a steady working actor with an impressive resume, so I will go on a limb and say he could keep his daughter better paid than porn checks. I mean, she’s no super porn star, right? She’s not likely to make tons of dough.
That’s speculation and even then only addresses one out of four possible scenarios. I’d agree that it’s unlikely that he didn’t make enough of of Matrix 2 to live decently for the rest of his life. But, that still leaves three scenarios where your view of things doesn’t follow through.
Laurence Fishburne is the star of one of the most popular shows on television. He probably makes more per episode than most of us make in a year. He’s likely exceedingly wealthy.
Well, I hafta go ahead and agree with that, since I’m on the internet discussing celebrity rumors on a messageboard. When I take this issue to a court of law or something, I’ll be sure to come with hard evidence.
Jerry Van Dyke (Coach) daughter Kelly did porn. One film was The Coach’s Daughter. A big F. U. to her dad. iafd (adult database) lists several anal films.
Kelly hanged herself while Jerry was still working on Coach.
On the subject of celebrity relatives doing “dirty” things to piss off their fathers/mothers/siblings - who could forget the La Toya Jackson Playboy spread?
I remember a hilarious Rolling Stone interview with Madonna where they gave her the La Toya issue - which she hadn’t seen yet - and her reaction was something like “WOAH! I bet the Jackson family are freaking out!”
It was funny to see Madonna turn into one of us celebrity speculators for just a second.
