I seriously hope you mispelled crotchety-ness.

I hope so too! :smack:
I wish I could be as intentionally funny.
“Why are you firing me? Is is because I’m a thespian?”
Now, if they hired Jon Lovitz to play the new ADA I wouldn’t miss an episode.
I liked the new ADA better than Serena the second she walked through the door. I simply was not a fan of the “deer caught in the headlights” thing she had going on.
And the new ADA (Annie Parisse) was a guest on the show in 2002 in an episode called “Attorney Client”, which I don’t remember at all.
I don’t really care for either of them. It really seems like the producers have stopped auditioning the new characters and just go on looks alone. There’s really no chemistry going. The lines all seem to be stiffly recited.
I’m kinda getting tired of the “ripped from the headlines” but with a special “twist” at the end on both L&O and SVU. Every once in a while it would be nice to have just a plain NYC murder, not one that ends up connected to some big shot. The show just seems to be falling into such a formula now that it’s lost its charm.
Did anyone else notice that the mother of one of the victims was played by former In Living Color star Kelly Coffield? Her hair is a LOT shorter than it was back in the day.
She wasn’t billed as “Kelly Coffield,” though. She appears to have taken a married name, although the credits went by too fast for me to see what it was.
She’s Kelly Coffield Park and married to Steve Park, who was Mike Yanagita in “Fargo”
And Steven Park has been in an episode of “Criminal Intent”.
Eventually we will all appear in an episode of “Law and Order”.
BobT: Thanks.
I like the new DADA. She does seem to have that “looks great in some angles, not so great in others” thing going.
