Actually, Dick Wolf stated in an interview that he regretted killing off Kincaid, because he would have liked to bring her back as a defense attorney. I have trouble seeing her as a defense attorney, the same way I have trouble seeing Carmichael as a defense attorney. I can see Southerlyn as on, though. It’s possible they asked the actress back, and she wouldn’t come back.
The show didn’t last long enough for a Green redux, I think-- he hadn’t been gone that long when the last episode aired. I mean, Logan was gone for a long time before his reappearance. I did love the mention of what Branch was up to after the show-- that he’d been asked to be a judge on a reality TV show.
