I unfortunatly caught an episode of “SVU” once and can say it was one of the stupidest hours of TV I’ve ever spent/wasted.
And I sit thru “Adult Swim” with the wife.

That was my thought as well, but props to Mariska for letting herself be non-glamorous for the part.
I was surprised with the comment “the closest I’ve come to it” because I thought her character had been raped or at least had another attempted rape incident.
I thought it was her mother that was raped, and she’s the baby that resulted.
I had no problem with the exploitation. It’s just TV. Who cares? What I didn’t get was why the rapist CO got off the first time. I mean, there were two police officers who were eyewitnesses to his attempted rape, right?
Per Dex and Tuba, I’m not allowed to post about bondage. It disturbs some members of CS to no end apparently.
Ok well that makes things slightly clearer.
Could you not use spoiler/bondage boxes for bondae posts?
It seems rather silly.
SVU will never sink lower than the episode with Chad Lowe and Margot Kidder.
Aside:
Now, now, let’s not exaggerate. You’re not allowed to post overly much about bondage, and there is a difference. The rule does NOT just apply to you, the rule applies to anyone who posts obsessively about a topic (we’ve applied the same rule to several others over the years whose posts echo and re-echo, iterate and re-iterate, their private and personal obsession.)
The reason for this rule is that we’re not a therapy group here, and obsessive posting about any particular topic (whether sex, politics, or goldfish) annoys several posters.
Evil Captor, you have my permission to post once in this thread about whatever it is you’re intimating.
Ooh, watch out everybody! Avert your eyes from Evil Captor’s next post! The tender sensibilities of a web site that regularly discusses semen calorie content and why shit is brown is about to be subjected to words describing sex and restraints! I do believe I’m about to get the vapors!
When you get the reply, please post it here. If it’s that bad, put it in a spoiler box with warnings.
Yeah, those goldfish posts … and the sex posts … yeah, can’t have that … You’re not fooling anybody, Dex.
Um, here it is, in a spoiler box:
Warning: BONDAGE content! Prepare to have your brains destroyed! Hide the women, children and silverwares! If you have a safe place to go to, like a fallout or tornado shelter, go there at once!
In a 2002 episode, there’s a scene of a woman found naked and bound and gagged in a closet. The first is, she’s gagged with her own panties. This is the first and only pantie gag in mainstream TV. They show up regularly in commercial bondage videos, but none on TV other than this one, and only one or two in mainstream movies, if that many. (Carla Gugino MAY have been pantie-gagged in “Jaded.”)
It left me wondering if, given the rarity (or, prior to this scene, the nonexistence) of pantie gags on mainstream TV, do they have writers who research bondage vids for ideas on awful things to do to the Special Victims, or what?
The story is, the woman is a member of the Russian mob who crosses some of her fellow mobsters, so they rape her and leave her bound, gagged and naked in a closet in a corporate boardroom, cause they’re, like, the Russian mob and they do stuff like that.
I know, BFD, with a build-up like that, what would it take to live up to it?
Firstly, you claim he isn’t banned from talking about bondage and he just isnt allowed to post “overly much” about it. Then you give him permission (as though he needs it?) at the end of your message?
Has this rule ever been applied to someone who wont shut up about cats, poetry or literature?
They probably just look on the internet for ideas. It’s not hard to find things that don’t adhere to mainstream tastes. CSI uses the same sort of stuff. adult babies, bondage, etc.
