Lawrence Russell Brewer Dead

There is fortunately no controversy surrounding Brewer and the other two’s guilt and thus justice has been dispensed cleanly, flatly, and finally on this disgusting wretch. Huzzah for justice!

God that took long enough!

I think I would view this as a regrettable necessity at best, were I a pro-life Christian like you. Not a cause for celebration. You’re one vile kid, Mr. Despite-everything-he-is-still-a-human-being-and-thus-one-of-the-God’s-children.

I am glad justice has been carried out not that he has been killed.

Talk about your meaningless distinctions.

I am opposed to the death penalty.

If Terry Nichols can get life without parole, so should anyone.

Even this total douche bag.

Meanwhile, Troy Davis was executed by Georgia for a crime that he almost certainly did not commit. Huzzah for modern Republicanism - not trusting the government to do ANYTHING, except execute the right people 100% of the time.

The GOP was once opposed to Death Panels. Now it is one.

Au contraire.

Are you the Inquisition?

On the one hand, of the nine eye witnesses, seven now say he didn’t commit the murder. And there is no forensic evidence linking him to the crime.

On the other hand, there’s an opinion piece written by Ann Coulter.

Better tree the coon.

I don’t normally agree with Ann Coulter, but she seems to have laid out the information pretty solidly.

I will confess that I did not follow the case at all, to be honest I don’t tend to follow out of state legal issues other than NORML ones as I really have no ability [or right] to interfere with nonConnecticut issues. Going back and reading the case information, I say good, you need to dispose of rabid/insane animals. I know of absolutely no instance when his behavior should be considered normal. Yes, in warfare killing is valid, but there was no war in that parking lot, nor was it a matter of self defense. [Actually if the guy being pistol whipped had killed Brewer, I would have agreed that it was in self defense and allowable.]

Do you have anything not written by Ann Coulter? See, Ann Coulter’s reputation for honesty is so poor that if she were to wish me a good morning, the first thing I would do is go to my window to check that it was, in fact, a good morning. The woman’s an inveterate liar and, frankly, if all you’ve got is an article by Ann Coulter then as far as I’m concerned you’ve got nothing.

If you have any articles written by someone with a good track record for telling the truth I would be happy to consider them.

Killing someone is not justice. At best, it’s prevention and deterrence. More likely it’s just good ol’ fashioned vengeance. It’s not like killing him will undo what he did. There’s nothing to be celebrated here.

What a disgusting piece of shit you are, and your barbaric country. I hope you start listening to the little spark of humanity somewhere inside you soon.

Says the adult just told a 14 year old boy that he’s a disgusting piece of shit.

As long as you do that, you cannot claim some sort of moral high horse.

I think you are the only person in the world claiming that. But it’s irrelevant, the standard is whether doubt about his guilt is reasonable.

‘Vengeance is Mine,’ sayeth the Lord.

‘Thou art God.’

You’re right, profanity on a message board is much worse than gloating over the death of a human being.
