Lawyer sues to block Obama from presidency as a non-native citizen (2)

suave!

The Moscow embassy, following its usual proceedure for would-be defectors, put him off. Oswald, for whatever reason, didn’t follow through. Had he been persistant he would have gotten his wish. (And this happened at the beginning of this time in the Soviet Union, before he was packed off to Minsk and many months before he met and married Marina. Forgive my nitpicking, but I’ve developed a bit of a mania for “keeping the record clean” in the Kennedy assasination case.)

Thanks for that; a lot of the conspiracy buffs’ scenarios rely on a certain vagueness about verifiable facts.

My girlfriend, an otherwise intelligent woman, had lunch the other day with an idiot coworker and came home saying that she thought she might vote for McCain out of fear that Obama is “hiding something” regarding his birth certificate. I gave her relevant information (much of it gotten through this board), and she finally voted for Obama, but still feels she “can’t trust him”. No wonder I have migraines.

That’s something I’ve never understood so far this cycle. If I had children, I’d let Obama (and Michelle) babysit them. That’s how much I trust him. I don’t see the reasons for mistrust.

On the other hand, I wouldn’t let McCain or Palin anywhere near them. I don’t trust either one of them any further than I can throw them.
