Lazy Meathead Look

You know that bloated look people get when they lift weights hard and eat massive amounts of food (not all healthy, too much protein) without doing much cardio? Of course there is some muscle growth (tissue and extra stored water and glycogen) and fat growth. But there seems to be an extra superficial bloatedness, sort of just under the skin that is so characteristic of people who are in a calorie surplus of unhealthy foods and don’t do much cardio. THIS LOOK SEEMS TO BE PRESENT even in those individuals who drink lots of water.

My main question is this: what ALL contributes to this bloated exterior look?

Most likely it’s just subcutaneous fat. They’re probably retaining water too.

UltraFilter: This water retention… is it pure H20?

It’s probably as pure as water in a living organism gets.
