I couldn’t even watch that whole YouTube link. NOT the one about the hoo-ha (just kidding), but one about Tyra being a bitch. God-WHAT a bitch.
A nurse I know has Amish teens come in all the time to ask if Saran wrap and a rubberband are enough to make a condom.
Good on you! I haven’t had cable/network TV for somewhere around 6 or 7 years now. I watch DVDs, including shows like Sopranos, etc on DVD, but life has improved without TV. I do find myself enthralled with some commercials if I am in a bar with television, though.
Hey, after five weeks with a Foley catheter in all the time, I was practically jumping for joy at the prospect of only having to do an in&out catheter once or twice a day. It’s amazing how context can change your assessment of things.
hehe. Earlier today I emailed my gf about some further study I’d be interested in completing tonight. She kept emailing me asking for more details, so I emailed a link to the video.
On my last visit to the ER, I was awoken by a nurse because she was fiddling with my catheter and it was a pretty rude awakening all around, especially since I’d been unconscious when I was brought in and didn’t even realize I was in the hospital until that moment.
There’s a Terry Pratchett paragraph about something like this - rude awakenings and nice awakenings. The nice ones are all clean white sheets and maybe a nice nurse that you can have a platonic fling with as you get better. The rude ones…yeah, yours’d fit.
It was horrid. All because the girl wasn’t “sad enough” on losing? What. I’m not sure if Tyra is that much of a bitch or if it was ratings week and she wanted to pull in her target audience, or what. Either way…scary. The “Family Guy” spoof of it was pretty good, though.
I thought the strange fish caught off the coast of Russia was more fascinating. Would love to see it on the Tyra show. Tyra putting her arm around it, getting all chummy…
