You all seem to be forgetting the book that featured a great mystery setup with unharmed bodies encased in paint, and the big reveal that the killer had been hypnotizing them to swallow their own tongues. Really.
which is just about as stupid as the book itself was. 
Oddly enough, I don’t mind the older Swagger (although they should get his daughters involved as the real main characters). What I do hate is how it seems like he’s run out of new ideas. His latest book (I think) looks like he’s going to solve the Kennedy Assasination :rolleyes:. The last one I stopped reading was such lazy writing in that it featured as main plot points the characters of Ted Turner and Jane Fonda, loosely renamed in the book as Tom Constable; (TT to his friends) and Joan Flanders) .
