I was talking to a friend the other day, and the question came up about masturbation and left or right handedness.

Do right handed people use their left hands and and vice versa?

Is that part of the reason that left handedness is looked about as bad, or evil, or dirty in some societies?

Hmmm. I’d never thought about that. I’m left-handed and use my right.

My friend and I are both left handed, and use our right as well. This is why the question came up. (Yeah, ok, sometimes I have weird conversations…)

I am left handed and tend to use my left when doing things manually, though I am ambidexterous towards this kind of thing if I am using something battery operated.

Somehow I doubt it. The reason I doubt it is that masturbation doesn’t exist! Nobody does it. Ever. Especially in those societies with a left hand taboo, as they tend to be conservative about such things.

I can see:
TOURIST: Why is the left hand considered unclean?
LOCAL: Because it is associated with toilet activities.

I can’t see:
TOURIST: Why is the left hand considered unclean?
LOCAL: Because we tug our Johnsons with it.

I’m right-handed and use both (simultaneously for most of my life) but the left predominates now.
