I have a relative (no, it isn’t me!) who had been convicted of a felony and is now looking to petition the court to have the conviction’s status changed to misdemeanor. Assuming this is feasible–and no, he hasn’t done time in Chino, San Quentin or Folsom–is there a CA statute or court form (for Fresno County, if that’s necessary) that he could use to bolster his petition?
