B.S.? I’ve suggested cannabis to several people with chronic insomnia who were not helped by standard treatment, or where side effects of standard treatment were unacceptable. They found a toke at bedtime to be a godsend. Ditto headache sufferers. And when my friend’s dad was slowly dying of prostate cancer, smoking marijuana improved his quality of life by an order of magnitude. He got to enjoy the last few months of his life.

There’s an old joke: 95% of the lawyers ruin the reputation for the 5% of the lawyers that are honest. i.e. While there may be valid medical reasons for some users, I believe the majority of prescriptions are issued to people who just want to get high.
