Legend of the Seeker - does it get better? [season 1]

Kahlan was looking pretty hot in the grips of her blood rage. I rather missed it when she reverted to normal.

I enjoyed the finale. I thought the writers did a great job tying up all the loose ends and plot lines durring the last few minutes.

Just in case…

Conflicting prophesies, self-motivated antagonists, and our heroes turned against each other… although, I suppose its convenient that death is rarely permanent in this series. My only complaint (and this applies to several episodes) is that there was a wild card at the end that that granted the “happy ever after” conclusion. Also, the first few minutes of the finale nullified the previous episode, so why bother showing it at all?

I hope the series is picked up again, but I will be content in knowing that it ended on a good note. Too bad Cara isn’t a network television producer…

Yeah, Kahlan looks good when she’s evil. She also looks really good in her darker, better fitting fighting clothes than that white smock thing she used to wear all the time. I used to wonder why it wasn’t always dirty, blood stained and how she managed to not trip over it all the time.

I love how these guys get around. Everything is all, “that’s 100 leagues from here! I’ll be back in a day or two!” Or, “that’s 1000 leagues from here, gimme a week, I’ll be right back!” Kahlan can usually outpace a horse. In a dress. (Kahlan, not the horse) They must make really good shoes in that world.

I’m a libertarian and I found that shit annoying after a while.

I hope it finds a way to continue. I really liked this show. Losing this and Lost was a real double whammy to my TV watching.

I don’t know about your area but in mine it’s broadcast at 11:30 PM at night. I think giving it a better time would probably help ratings.

Tried it, hated it. Even the eyecandy couldn’t keep me watching.

It aired at 8:00 PM here on Saturdays(decent time). I also get the Chicago(WGN) feed, which was at 5:00 PM(not a great time).

The wiki article has been updated to note that ABC has regained interest in selling the show to someone else, so maybe there’s a little hope…

And yeah, it came on at 11:35pm and 12:35am here, so how good could the rating possibly be?
