I just found out that with your kindle you can loan a book up to two weeks. Of course this doesn’t work with all ebooks. Also, the lender has to live in the US and the ebook has to be available in the borrower’s region.
That being said, I have a brand new shiny kindle that a friend smuggled from the US. Why don’t we initiate the SDMB Kindle lending club?. Of course, I can only be a borrower thanks to copyright law (also I have three private domain books).
