I just found out as well. I can’t say I’m shocked, as he was 82 years old and I knew he was in poor health, but I’m very sad.
I haven’t heard all of his recent, final album “You Want It Darker” yet, but I purchased the title track a few days ago and it’s excellent.
Damn. What a crappy year.
