Except he doesn’t actually go after that minority much anymore. He goes after soldiers and astronauts. In many cases, clearly straight people. To me this sounds less like bullying and more like trolling.

Seriously though I’ve always wondered about the sincerity of his beliefs. It’s my understanding that his clan gets money by provoking assaults and suing the assailants. I guess that’s pretty much real life trolling. However I’ve also read that most of his cruelty is directed towards his own family. There’ve been some tales of horrific abuse that makes me wonder why he’s still allowed near minors.

That’s one of the few positives, I agree. It’s the same thing with Pat Robertson. I love that I’m actually able to say “Why does the religious right hate America?” Nobody could marginalize these dumb fucks more effectively than they’re marginalizing themselves. I don’t see where it would be necessary. After all, we know that God hates everyone except Phred and (some of) his fambly.

Well, I’ll keep my eyes open. I see them around Topeka here a lot, but usually try not to read the signs anymore. The WBC has picketed my church a number of times, so Sunday morning should be good for spotting.
