Under normal circumstances “partner” does it, but if I need to avoid misconstruals I use “spousal equivalent”. It’s not as awkward-sounding as it looks in print.

I still say Girlfriend - even though we are moving towards the very serious stage

I have always used it -

I will call her my wife when the time comes

When I’m first introducing her, I’ll use girlfriend. When I’m talking about her, I usually use ‘my girl’, except when I’m being formal, when I use ‘my wife.’ She usually calls me her wife.
