Lesson learned from the movie Flight *spoilers.

If you have an alcohol problem and can’t function, always keep a steady supply of cocaine on hand…unless you work in a sensitive profession where you may be drug tested.

Otherwise, drink all you want and when it is time for work the next morning, do a good, strong line of coke and perform like a champ. Don’t call out sick with a hangover; you can hide it for years with the wonder drug: cocaine.

Did anyone else get this perverse sense from the movie?

Well, it wouldn’t shock me if we were surrounded by functionally alcoholic and addicted pilots, train engineers, bus drivers, doctors…

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.

Cocaine’s a hell of a drug.

I thought it was that if your plane is in an uncontrollable dive, invert it

I would have thought that would be good only if you’re flying while tripping on acid. But hey, what do I know? I’m not a pilot.
