Let me be real clear: this message board does NOT need conservatives

Tradition, mostly.

What happened to Realpolitik?

Fair point.

Well, the thing about that, the US is not the only player.

I think the reason the left looks particularly hypocritical on this is that they are busy denouncing people at home and getting them deplatformed or fired for rather minor offenses, but they have little to say about Saudi Arabia, which legally treats women as second class citizens and has the death penalty for gay sex.

The right supports the exact same foreign policy, but doesn’t pretend to care much about those things.

Or because you really, really want to find anything you can use as a gotcha, no matter how much of a stretch to the truth you have to make, even to the point of outright lying.

But you do you, and continue to pretend to wonder why the sorts of disingenuous contributions that you shit out are not welcomed on this board.

I don’t think you actually know anything about what “the left” says about Saudi Arabia.

This would be hypocritical if the dems ever made the claim that our country shouldn’t look out for its own self interest.

Plenty do make that claim when it comes to immigration.

“The Left” complain a lot about Saudi Arabia. The Democratic Party…not so much. Which suggests that the party isn’t actually run by 'the left."

Also, “the left” tend to be louder about domestic issues and practices that can actively be changed than about foreign countries’ practices that are also objectionable but much harder to influence.

No they don’t lol

Would you like to expand on this, in who is making what claim exactly, and how that conradicts @DeadTreasSecretaries’ statement?

Or are you just going to do your usual passive aggressive steaming pile of shit dump, and pretend that you just presented an actual argument?

WAIT A MINUTE! That’s what DemonTree accused me of!
DemonTree are you stealing my posting style?

Nope. The argument for allowing more immigration nearly always includes the (IMO correct) argument that it is in the country’s best self-interest, as well as in the interest of the immigrants.

The argument against uncontrolled immigration is generally that it is not in the country’s best interest. But this never seems to be accepted as a valid reason to limit it.

It’s opposite day. Now you have to make a long, detailed post with relevant points that includes citations.

Good luck!

See, and that’s the type of post that you make that shows how you lie.

No one is in favor of uncontrolled immigration, so in order to use that as evidence of the supposed hypocrisy of the left, you have to simply make shit up that is not true.

Not that you have ever done this.

I wouldn’t condemn you to count and read the number of them I’ve posted.

Do irrelevant points with citations count?

Who has argued in favor of uncontrolled immigration?
