[bold]StGermain[/bold]–there’s a small town in northern Wisconsin by that name–any connection?
Scout - Nope! I didn’t know about the Wisconsin town. There is also a street in Paris with the name, but that’s not it, either.

Oh, cool, there’s another Bujold book out? I’ve read the whole series. I’ll have to pick that up.
Ukulele Ike, much as I’d like to “do” you, I’m not having much luck with your handle. I had to look it up (violating the spirit of this thread) and only found that it was the stage name for a jazz singer, who also did the voice of Jiminy Cricket. What does that have to do with Star Wars, limburger cheese, or … that other thing you mentioned that I can’t remember?
Cessandra, nobody’s guessing. I’m ready for you to explain it.
You know, old Bug Vomit has a point there.
The first mention of the user name Bug Vomit predated the publication of A Civil Campaign (which is a very good novel and part of a very good series).
Presumedly, no one will have any great difficulty figuring out where “Little Nemo” came from.
I don’t think Ukulele Ike has anything to do with Star Wars or else I’d know (Unless it was in one of the novels, which are always a little fuzzy in my memory :)).
“War doesn’t determine who’s right. War determines who’s left.”
There was a video game about Little Nemo, wasn’t there?
“War doesn’t determine who’s right. War determines who’s left.”
I know I’m probably a little late for this game, but I thought I’d try to see if anyone had any clues… Maybe not the first part, but Utinni! might get the last if he knows about SW ‘names’.
The Most Mundane and Pointless explanation on the thread:
I was on AOL and figured “Cassandra” would be taken. I hate names with numbers in them.
Was that what you thought, Joph?
I would’ve gotten away with it, too, if it weren’t for those meddling kids!
McEto isn’t ringing a bell. Any hints? (I’m probably gonna end up kicking myself)
“War doesn’t determine who’s right. War determines who’s left.”
Three guesses as to where I got my user name.

This is not a sig.
I have an idea about your WIU Wozman. WIU is for Western Illinois University and Wozman is cause your last name is similar to that, and you all have nicknames in your family
Now guess mine!!

Geez, Woz, if you’re going to let someone else use your computer, the least you can do is get them to start a thread in the Pit attacking a moderator, only to suddenly implode in an amazing fit of schizophrenia.

Utinni!,
It has to do with how to come up with your own starwars name. (First 3 letters of your last name and first two of your first.) So mine is McEto.
Ah yes, I understand. Here’s another one.
First SW Name:
Take the first three letters of your first name and the last two letters of your last name.
Last SW Name:
Take first two letters of mom’s maiden name and first three letters of your birthplace (city, state, country, your choice)
“War doesn’t determine who’s right. War determines who’s left.”
Cessandra, yep – but only because you had said it once before in one of those “about your name” threads. I’m not all that bright, I just have a good memory
“I guess one person can make a difference, although most of the time they probably shouldn’t.”
“Rolling with the dopes you know. Rolling with the wrong gun on you”
“I dream that she aims to be the bloom upon my misery”
God, I remember that. My teenage summer job was being a barn rat (assorted scut work) for a stable of Lipizzan Stallions in exchange for riding lessons, and I remember a one of the triple crown races where a horse went down, it would have been '93 or 4 or somewhere in there. Any recollection? Scared the bejeezums out of me. Then again, it could just be the '90 race that I remember.
Anyone want to try my name? The sig is a clue.
